I have been a self taught crafter for years, making gifts for friends and family. I am finally trying my hand at selling my current round of crafts: knitting, crocheting, and quilting. I hope to document as I go and get feedback as well!
Here is some of my story: after years of touring craft shows working in metal, I retired to my day job as a teacher, and developing my knitting skills as a hobby. Crochet was my next challenge, then quilting. I love them all, and after years as the local baby-blanket maker, decided to offer these skills to the wider public.
Currently located in the mountains of north Georgia, I also offer knitting lessons and parties to people of all levels of crafting.
Below are a few examples of my work. Check out my ever growing portfolio of work.
My niece was born in 2009 with Cystic Fibrosis, so I have started dedicating a line of products to CF research, and a portion of all sales go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In 2013 I changed the focus of my Etsy business, and now a portion of all my sales go to some deserving charity, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Room to Read, helping girls have access to education worldwide; and the Susan G. Koman foundation, helping those who struggle with and overcome breast cancer.
